Special issue of the journal

Research on Computing Science

Contributions are invited for a special issue on Advances in Natural Language Processing of the journal Research on Computing Science, ISSN 1665-9899. This journal is published by the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico (for the moment the journal is not indexed in SCI), see an example issue here.

The topics of interest, paper size (only full papers), and paper format are identical to those of the CICLing-2006 conference.

The papers included in the journal must be presented as posters at this conference. This implies that for each paper, at least one author must be registered for the conference (paying the author's fee) and must attend it in person to present the paper as poster. We will communicate the payment procedure to the authors of accepted papers.

The journal will be distributed to the participants of the conference.

The papers are to be submitted through the paper registration system of CICLing-2006 conference, see Submission instructions. Only full papers (not short papers) will be considered for publication, so please choose the category Full paper when registering your paper. The submissions should not include authors' names. (If your paper has been already submitted for the CICLing conference then you should have received instructions on its submission for this special issue; please let us know if you did not. No need to re-submit your paper!)  NEW:  Copyright form: please do not send us any copyright form for the moment. We will contact you later for a copyright form.

All submissions will be reviewed by two independent reviewers and will be subject to a strict selection process.

Submission deadline: December 15 (please contact us for late submissions if needed)
Acceptance notification: January 10
Camera-ready deadline: January 20
Registration payment deadline: January 20
